dive juneau
i tried scuba diving for the first time yesterday at tee harbor. 
p goes a couple times with his dad almost every weekend, so i was excited to learn and be able to go with them one of these days. they had some amazing footage of sea lions playing with them and the camera the other week, and lots of other great shots of nudebranchs and crabs. the classes at the scuba tank are filled, and they don't know when they're holding the next session, so p just took me out himself and showed me the basics. i took to it naturally & had a blast. we only went down 12 feet max, but we saw a crescent gunnel which let me pet it, and i found an ADF&G Dungeness Area A permit thingy from 2001.for christmas/new years, we're thinking of taking a 3 week trip to bonaire. p already went this past march and made some local dive buddies, and during winter, you can dive the other side of the island where the sharks and fun things are.

Seriously, can't you do ONE post where you are bored and there's nothing to do but watch the rain?!?
i'll let you in on a little secret. i exploit that whole 'all asians look alike' thing - half these pictures aren't even of me. they're of michelle kwan. all i really do all day is play shooter games on xbox360 and eat totino's pizzas. seriously. anyway, wait until winter time, and you'll get all the bored, angsty posts you (n)ever wanted.
That literally made me snarf.
i wasn't sure what snarf meant, and whether you meant that as in "vomit" or "laugh so hard milk spewed out my nose". so i wikipedia-d it, and it turns out it doesn't mean either of those things.
